Delete your Eggonomics account

How to delete your account and all of its data, and what happens next.

Option 1: in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Eggonomics and go to Settings > Account.
  2. Tap Delete account and all data. You can export your records to CSV first.
  3. Type the confirmation word and tap Delete everything.

The app may ask you to confirm your password or sign in again first. If you own a household that still has other members, remove them or hand over the household first; the app shows you how.

Option 2: by email

If you no longer have the app, email support@eggonomics.app from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my Eggonomics account". If you used Apple or Google sign-in, tell us which, and we may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) first, or you will keep being charged.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details.
  • Your flock, birds, egg log, costs, egg sales, health and care records, reminders and photos.
  • The copy of your data saved on the phone you delete from.

What may be kept

  • Entries you logged in someone else's household belong to that household and stay with it. Your name on them is the name you chose in the app.
  • Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and our subscription processor, RevenueCat, as their policies and the law require.
  • Crash reports and analytics events are not linked to your account by name and expire on their own (see the Privacy Policy).
  • Our hosting provider (Google Firebase) may hold deleted data in short-lived internal backups until they are overwritten.

Guest accounts that were never saved to an email, Google or Apple account are deleted automatically after 90 days without use.
